I am running a cpi can right now in my '09 xp. It is louder than mbrp, and slp. But it is not to loud. I think it sounds really good. It is not a high pitch scream when wot. It is more throaty sounding. Idle sounds sweet to....:beer;

I have one. Nice sound, but bad welding an finish inside. The split from 1-2 was really bad. Had too cut the flange of, and grind of alot inside to make it i good split. If you seen your Y-pipe like this, you would throw it in the gab.

Sounds even better after fixing it:)

I have the cpi pipe and stingers. Sounds like a set of twins with the dual stinger I ran just the can and it was alot more quite with out the pipe. Go for the pipe can combo. If you like the noise.

I'm pretty sure I have a CPI can on my 04 800 summit. I looks different though. I tried drawing a picture so you can get an idea.

Anyway I LOVE the way it sounds. I get lots of compliment's on the sound too.

I have the pipe and can combo and love it. Will find out how well it works with my other mods next week in west.

I have a cpi can and love it. Had one on my 01 rmk and it performed great so I had to try one on the xp. really notice the weight difference and love the sound. Did anyone notice a big sound and/or performance differnce by using the can first then adding pipe?

Running a straightline can. Good if not excellent sound (sounds close to stock with a bit more idle tone). Excellent customer service. I will hand it to Straightline they take the weight off and keep the noise down. I know some are not as noise conscious as others but, I would really like to be able to keep riding my sled on public lands
