Countryfest in Cadott, WI

Has anyone been to this? I'm thinking I am going to head up and take it in this summer but have a few questions on it.

First off, tickets are cheapest until Jan. 27 off of the countryfest website, but would it be cheaper to wait and buy off of ebay later?

Second, what is the parking situation. I have tent that goes over the bed of my truck, and was just going to get a camping spot for the 4 nights. Is there a better way of going about things?

Any info on this at all would be great, as I don't know much about it. Thanks.

i own land about 30 min away and work close too. the tickets are probably cheaper on ebay but you get what you pay for. i havent been there in a few years but it is one hell of a party, especially if you like drinking for four days straight, passing out in some strangers tent, and doing beer bongs with topless chicks! all in all it is one hell of a party.
as far as parking goes you wont have a problem, especially if you have a truck tent. you will pay more to be closer to the concert area but there really isnt a bad place to park/camp and for the most parts on the years that i have gone some of the best parties are at the campsites and not in the concert area!

That's what I was planning on doing. Sounds like a good time all around. Is the stage set up so that even the general admission cheapskates can still see fairly well? I don't need to be front row, but I would like to be able to see without using a telescope. Ah, who am I kidding. I won't be able to see much of anything after the 3:00 show anyways. If anyone else is going, wouldn't mind getting to know a couple fellow snowesters, so just let me know. Thanks fellas.

from what i can remember there really isnt a bad seat. and if you do what my buddy and brother did you get real close........they ran(DRUNK AS HELL) through the photograph security and danced like idiots at the very front of the stage which was used for little kids and families to take pictures......Joe Diffie actually hit my brother in the head with a guitar pick but he was to drunk to find it.

I hate bringing up old threads, but now that CountryFest is just over a month away, I thought I'd once again throw out the invitation to meet up with a few fellow Snowesters during the big shindig (the Busch Light will be raining heavily upon us). We have tickets all secured, but still have no idea how the camping situation works (how many tents per site? How many vehicles can park per site? What's the rule on fires? etc.) Never been to Wisconsin so this will be a real treat for us. Thanks guys.

Countryfest is a blast. Everyone there is real layed back, even the cops. As far as camping goes, you're only supposed to have one campin "unit" per site, but they don't enforce it at all. We always have one camper on each site along with a bunch of tents. And you're only allowed one vehicle per site. You should have gotten a sticker for your truck when you ordered your site. That needs to be stuck to your windshield, or else they won't let you into the campgrounds. We always get one truck into the campgrounds, take off the sticker, and walk back to get another truck in the parking lot. They let you have fires too, but make sure you bring a ring of some kind.

The concert area is awesome. The have two giant screens on each side of the stage so even the people in the back have a good view of whats goin on.

I had a buddy go to Wefest last year. He said it was fun, but not as good as countryfest. I guess they really patrol the grounds pretty good and were pretty strict with a few things.

Your gonna love it. Lots of drinking games, plenty of booz, topless gals, and lots of great people to party with. The south campground is the best place to stay and party. I've been goin there for years and will be for years to come.
