After seeing what Tucker Hibbert i doing to the competition this year in snoX, who thinks he could win the Open points championship on the Yammi 4-stroke?

What he has done so far this year has been simply amazing.

IMO, he might have lost once by now on the Yammi..

Yes he could, his fitness and stamina is WAY beyond the rest of the pros right now.

his fitness and stamina? LOL now I have heard it all....

way to pull that outta your arse! :beer;

have you guys seen the yamaha hand gaurds there as big as the skis. face it if anyone want to win on a yamaha. there ganna have to start taking extream messures to make it a better sled. ie: nytro needs less weight

Oh and getting some extreme sponshures too, to help with the weight loss.

Could Tucker do it? Probably, he might have to muscle the sled around a bit more but I can't see why not.

Is the Yamaha still 1050cc compared to 600cc 2-smokes? Yamaha could easily get 175 - 180 HP outta it. How much for the 600's - 150 ish?

as long as it was on skis and track and not two wheels.

OK that was kinda a harsh shot at Tuckers MX, but I think it was kinda good.

Tucker probably could, but why? Even Yamaha with their money couldn't buy him away from Cat and Daddy. No reason to try it. And....if Tucker couldn't win with it, that would be the end of Yamaha's race developement!

I think people forgot that Yamaha has won in Sno-X, Brainerd with Robbie Malinoski behind it. Tucker could definitley win on a Yamaha and people would still trash Yamaha. They have two riders out there, a far cry from the other manufacturers. It all comes down to feedback and experience. Yamaha is in their 3rd season and keep testing and developing.

Remember when everyone laughed at Toyotas in the 80's? Hmm, just a matter of time and evolution. Today the big three stuggle and Toyota is still openeing new plants in the US. I will ride any brand and am not a Yamaha only man, just have seen them take huge leaps and bounds in technology over the last few years.

Then how do you explain a 32 second margin of victory over 20 laps? Because everyone else was tired. Tucker had half a sled on Robbie coming out of the first corner, then said see ya!

If you think that, you're nuts.

I just don't see anyone throwing a crapload of money at a sport that's fading into the sunset. Not that there's anything wrong with snocross, we're just headed back into the cycle where cross country is going to take the spotlight again.
