Rode Mill Hollow area Saturday. Off and on sun and blizzard conditions. probably a foot of fresh with 2 feet in the deposits. Temps didn't break 25 and snow was dry and fluffy. Trail just fine in the morning, hard back wrenching whoops coming home in the afternoon. Only if the groomers worked another 3-4 weeks or more this year. Can't have it all though. All around a sweet day, not too often does the storm dump on Friday for the weekend warriors to enjoy.
Sunday rode Fairview. Temps still in the high 20's but the storm didn't hit as hard there and the sun had done it's damage by early afternoon. Not so much soft or slushy just baked and settled. Still a solid 8-10 inches of semi-soft to be found on the north faces and shadows. Last pic is at fairview.
Suppose to be in the high 50's and low 60's by Friday at elevation. Watch out for them cornices as they retire to the basin floors and the wet slides. Good weekend to go to Vegas and watch some SuperX and scare some people with the sexy snowmobile tan by the pool.
