Anyone have any information on what happened at Cottonwood on Sunday 1/10/2010?

Guy hit a tree, flight for life out of avalanche parking lot.....did not make it. Have not heard any names, just the above information. RIP fellow sledder....

A buddy of Dragon12 from the springs. Talked to Abbner and he said that they left the Avalanche parking lot about 5:00 last night and he was there. They talked with him earlier in the day around Taylor Jct at the base of Cottonwood. Kind of confusing details. Unless he went up again after Abbner and crew left ???? Alone and just bought the M8 on Friday (?).

I was there until around 5pm. Was it one of the guys that parked down on the road? I do not remember anybody riding by themselves.

I don't have all the details...just what I get from my friends. White truck, new M8 with the sticker off of it. When my buddies left he went into the woods. We need to get details thought before speculation.
