Cottonwood pass

Heading up to cottonwood pass soon. And i was wondering if i was able to park on the Buena Vista side and ride in? If you could let me know thanks

I haven't been up there this year, but according to the CSA, it's open.

Yes you can. Turn west off at the only stop light in town. Go about 12 miles and the first parking you get to on the right is the Avalanche Lot. There will be a pile of snow blocking the road so you have to turn into the lot. If there is low snow the next lot is Denny Creek. About 5 more miles up the pass.

You can get to Denny Creek, they have that open. But it is crowded up there. They built a sled road to the side for those that park at Avalanche parking lot. Either was it is good.
