Everyone needs to know about the new turn off to the Corbin Coal Mtn Operations turn off this year.. If you frequent, you would have seen them building a new over pass and bridge at the Coal Mtn turn off that takes you to the yellow gates, Tin Shack, and Corbin Staging Areas..
The turn off is now about 1/2km earlier and the construction continues. There are no delays to be heard of, but if you miss the corner you will have to travel a ways before you can safely turn around... When I return home I will post a few photos to familiar you with..

The snow is falling, and falling HARD!!! The lodge elevation is 4550ft, and we have had a couple feet out back. Looking like a great Base start to the year! We will post a special early bird price on the cabins for the boys that just can't wait.. Still need a Base to set up, But reports have been Huge from Verlee back at the Lodge.

Be safe this winter. Upgrade your beacons if your still using the single head annalog.. Most of all,, Have a great snow year!!!

I'm so excited I think I mite Cry!!!!!

A couple quick pics.. Cooper, my 12 year old was able to fire up his Sisters Cat and go for a rip on the back trail from our cabins. Can't wait to see what we got up top... :face-icon-small-dis

Has anyone actually been out there riding yet?

I understand your question!!! It is definently early season and if you called with your expectation we would advise you properly. We do get lots of calls from sledders that just want to put miles on the new machine, and you can do that for sure. Leaving the back yard you could ride hundreds of kms to Montana border and back if you wish on the flathead.

You can access all Bowls, but again, it's early season riding..

I will update with Photos Mid week...

WE HAD A GOOD DAY, UNLOADED AT THE TOWNSITE PUT 40 MILES ON, WENT UP INTO BARNES AND ELLIOT ABOUT 4 TO 5 FEET OF FLUFF GOOD FIRST DAY
