Ok guys 70 days till the snow flys and the club needs volunteers!
Work party's r happening every weekend till the snow flys.
Check out the new website it has everything u need to be safe and prepared for the drive and ur day of riding. This includes highway and avalanche conditions as well as up to date snow conditions and grooming reports.

The cabins need wood and there's trails that need clearing so grab ur buddies and ur chainsaws and get up there!! Support ur local club by volunteering!
Check the website if u need direction or a contact or just ask me.

O ya and for those who r wondering about the 10k road there will be a new parking lot at 8k to unload at !

Don't know exactly how big it's going to b, government contact is taking care of it, from what I understand there's a clearing just past 8 k that is going to b opened up and graded. I'm positive that the early birds will fit their truck and trailers. It's all new so nobody knows how it's going to work till the snows here.
I'm happy cause there shouldn't b anyone riding on the plowed road meaning no fines and no accidents!

i was thinking of taking the quad up this weekend to see whats going on! anyone else want to go for a ride?

Itching to ride

Man this cold weather with no snow is killing me! Hopefully we can get out on 10k soon. Anyone up for Monday rides?

well we need a bit more snow! about 3 to 4 inches at the 0k parking lot, and almost a foot at the henning cabin... road ride was slow and cautious! went to check out the new parking area at 8k, not much for a parking area. prob wont be able to even torun a trailer around there

Was up Saturday and was what sledjunky said we need more came back home late last night bout 9 and was snowing fairly hard saw a guy hit the center median 5 times so it haloed for some entertainment for the day let the season begin!

was the tree on henning trail cleared off to the side?
has anyone checked out the website besides m8 freewiner(lol sorry dan but that one might stick), any feedback?
sledjunky - trying to drive a truck and trailer down the ice rd to 10k probably not a great idea, with chains maybe.
c u guys this sat????

Keepin fingers crossed and prayin for snow, a ride this weekend would be wicked! Sorry Brandon – didn't mean to horn in on the BurtonXp show, but I was a little concerned that anybody who went to the Coq web site would think there was only one member on an old Ski Doo... :face-icon-small-hap

go back to sleep M8FREELOADER!! yes the tree is cut and cleared on the way up to henning cabin! yeah the 8k parking area would be for decks and small open trailers only... we drove up on snow covered roads last saturday with no problem.

Anybody know if there is enough snow now for some easy trail riding to break in the sleds?

There is 30cm at pipeline rd and still snowing so I am heading up henning tomorrow should be ok for trail riding I would think, just have to be cautious!
