Who remembers seeing the ENTIRE Rodney King video....not just the 30 seconds the media liked to show. I saw it all once (like 12 minutes or so??)and the cops only got the upper hand in the very end.

It was a triple homicide, not a parking ticket. My guess is there is more to it than 30 secs. of video.

I've never acted in a manner that would lead to the Police to even think I needed a beatdown. I've never been in a gang or hung out with gang members. Never bought or sold drugs, illegal or otherwise. So the Police never give me so much as a glance. Now had I done any of the above I would expect a beating from time to time. Kinda goes with that life style. So do I feel bad for those that were beatin? Nope, not at all!!!

The point you clearly missed is that there is no due process in that. You can't just assume they are guilty. That mindset is part of the reason we went to war with Britain. People were being put in jail without trial. Is that what you think we should be doing?

They aren't putting them in jail....they are just trying to get them TO jail....running away and resisting arrest, shooting cops and fighting back are all good reasons for a beatdown. Now if they just pulled over and obeyed commands there would be no beatdown.
