Cooke or Towgetee

Have Been to Cooke 2 times last year and suppose to be going again here real soon. Buddy went to Towtegee last weekend and says its way better than Cooke. We all had a blast in Cooke, but wondering what everyone else thinks about the 2 places and wich is better. we like deep and we like big Hills. Chime in please with your thoughts if you have been to either, and especially if you have been to both, wich you liked best. In Cooke we never had a guide, in towgetee he had a guide this weekend. We also all have bigger motors now and longer sleds.

so Given the choice, where would you go???

Been to both. I prefer Towtegee because it is much larger of an area you can allways find some fresh pow to play in. Cooke is all tracked up in three days.

Ive been to Cooke several times and Tog once. I would go back to Tog over Cooke due to the amount of ridable area. Cooke is awesome after a good dumping of snow, but it seems that the majority of sledders that are going out west for the first time are going to Cooke. That is good for the Cooke city business owners, but not so good for a group of guys that are looking for untracked snow. Awesome terrain, but too many people, and not enough area, Bobs Super 8, and the CC Sinclair are awesome.

We spent a few days in Tog last year. The conditions were fair, but I still had a blast, even with no guide. The lodge is a little on the spendy side IMO.

I prefer Togwotee. Much larger play area. Get a guide, they know all the good spots. Tip the guide well, if he does his job. I have had Matt B., Carter, Ryan, Brent, Justin and Noah. As guides out of Tog. and they all did well by me. This yr. we worked poor Justin to death and he never stopped smiling.

Been to both and if driving time is not an issue than go to Tog. Waaaaaayyyyy more area to ride. We usually hit Cooke cause it's about 4 hours closer. If you hit Cooke on the weekdays it's really quiet, but watch out for the weekends.

If you want to climb hills all day go to cooke. If you want to boondock, go to tog!

Tog is huge, but if you want the snow and some sick hills to climbs I would go to Cooke.
