800 and Above Stock - (2) sleds (1) STOCK XP 800, & (1) STOCK Rev 600 - Mine, I need to run both of these, so dont run me against myself !! , um except in the final
799 and Below Stock - (1) STOCK rev 600
999 and Below Modified - (1) STOCK Rev 600
1000 and Above Modified - this includes the all Turbo's - (1) STOCK XP 800

If there is a King of the Hill - Enter me for 1 Sled .........


And don't none of you ASSHATS give me any grief on my STOCK sleds, they even got grease on the head gaskets...

I am going to say this ONCET! - My 600 is stock, never been opened up, 007, you best bring yer calibers, cause these bastids t'aint gonna believe me !!

yeah, No PROBLEM, bring your calibers or your calipers, mine will be JUST as stock as Slimmy's!!!! So I get to be int eh same class as him right?

All my stuff is direct bolt on, and no engine mods done, so slimmy and I will be playing in the 600cc class together...

Here is a pic, am confident mine is as stock as his...all mine has had "done" is lightweighting....roughly 100 lbs.....it is sooooo light now you would think it is full of hot air and floats....or is it that it blows a lot of hot air like Slim????

remember stock means that the motor has never been cracked open to shave heads, port or any of that.

I have a STOCK 03 RMK engine in a 05 polars racer chassis. Only mods to the engine are a custom air box, twin pipes, and i have a nitrous kit. If i take the bottle off can i run in the stock class? Then put the bottle back on and run in mod?


Engine threw a crank and was cracked to replace all the enturnals and to true it. No engine mods inside what so ever. Is it considered stock?

stock vs mod....

the way this race is and course it really doesnt matter if you have 140hp or 180hp... its going to be very very close.

once you get into the turbos and big triple and twins... thats where you'll see the difference, and even then a good running 800 or 1000 with 150-160hp still will be right in the hunt.

this "course" is pretty rough, more of a hillcross type deal... huge HP isnt much of a help... it can actually hurt ya more then help ya. it has a lil roller hill in the bottom before the hill starts that can make the big sleds stand on end and lose speed and control.

i beat up on some 1000's with my truely bone stock 800 2 years ago and had some 800's beat on that (werent stock though ... SLIM and drinkwyo, haha

last year i think a turbo m8 beat out a much higher HP turbo apex for the title... i think the turbo m8's, 1000's and nytros will be the sleds to beat this year in the open class... an apex could creep in there too but we all know how heavy those deals are so i doubt it! hehe

i like to watch the truely stock 800's run against each other... dragons, xp's and the m's... that'll be a good race for sure! this "race" plays all parts of sleddin... sled, hp, setup and rider... and best of all, the smacktalk!

so dont really worry about what class you are in, honestly, it just doesnt matter. if you have a stock 700, you'll run in stock and open and do about the same in both... a stock 800 will hang right with the 1000's and modded 800s. best part of all... ITS JUST FOR FUN!

i'll be running the open with my hoopty... might run my ol ladies stock m8 in the stock class for grins.

Well the engine is till stock. It doesn't have a weight advantage over a XP, doesn't have a HP advantage over any 800 except for maybe the cat but doubt it. I have a 151" track with a race skid rear suspension (one designed for jumping stuff) I don't really think my sled is a mod sled and considering the engine is stock i don't see why not. Are you scared of a snow cross sled? lol i just want a fair race that’s all. I am not a very good rider lol.

I admit I am not that great of a rider. I say who I really am. I tell what sled I have. You have done none of this. If you are really a true “boondocker” then you should be able to school me in front of all these people. $50 says you won’t show your ugly face.

Look at all of titmouse's posts. Every single one is jsut finding a thread i made and messing with it because he knows me in person and i don't know him.

He says he is better than me so lets see it.

Ok... i guess. I only have $8000 into the sled and if a OEM sled doesn't beat me i will be very surprised. My only mod is pipes and i won't have my bottle on so no happy gas.

My sled will probably get its *** handed to it by a stock d7 but i will try anyways. I have a few track and weight transfer mods that should help me out a lot if the course is really hard packed and cased out.

I also am having a surgery so the only time i get to ride the sled before the race will be tomorrow. And then i have to try and clutch it

Does anyone know a good place to get clutches balanced around bozeman area?

So I was in Afton riding this weekend and drank to much and one thing led to another and another led to the famous WYOSHOT. I was told that I was taking this shot to Cooke over new years. Better get ready boyz.
