Converting M5 from 141" to 153"

I've got a 06 A/C M5 that I've put a 2.5° Bikeman timing key and a Speedwerks can on it, and it only runs greater every time I ride it. Now I'm hoping to go from the stock 141" Attack 20 to a 153" Maverick, I want to know what sort of things I might have to worry about with such a small motor and will it effect what I've put on it, and if anyone has ever done a conversion such as this or more on a M5.

!HELP!

Im guessing you will want to gear down, and didnt some of the M5's come with a 153? If they did im sure it will work fine, but i wouldnt go with the maverick, a powerclaw would be a much better choice.

we did this with our M5 a few years ago, less than impressive.
A better choice would be to put a powerclaw on it, then you'd have a track that matches the motor better & the claw makes a huge difference over the a20, no comparison.

Well i already have the maverick track, but i would like to know more about the clutching and gearing I'm going to have to do on it.
thanks

Gear down for sure,, if the elevation chart is still in place it should have the gear ratio on it. This engine will surprise you once the gear change is made especially if you go with the power claw. Gear for a 70 mph track speed at wot and it will do great in the deep snow. Will you use it on trails much? If so, then go a little higher geared.

we put a 162 on my buddies kids m5 and left the gearing alone. played with the clutching a little but the 500 will turn a 162 pretty good. I was suprised!!:beer;:beer;
