They groom the trails nightly. That sled would be fine for trails. You won't set any land speed records, but it will get you around just fine.

I know they have not groomed the trail from Irish Canyon to Pinedale. (40 miles) I heard they abandoned that section of trail due to lack of snow and snomobilers but Im not sure on that one. You would be better off riding the trails around Lander and South Pass then trailering to The Place\Green River Guest Ranch north of Pinedale and riding the CDTS to Dubois, Togwotee, Tetons, Yellowstone. Make sure your machine is in top shape. Services are few and far between. If it is, it will be fine.

If you stay on groomed trails you could ride a 70's vintage sled and be fine unless there is a big dump of new snow.

Off trail - If you have a 133" or 136" or longer track you will do fine if you know you and your sleds limits and area a good rider. You should have your clutch set for high altitude. You must be careful not to allow yourself to blindly follow off-trail tracks downhill because you quite likely will get in too deep and not be able to get back out.
