Considering a 09 HCR...anything to watch for?

Considering a leftover 09 HCR. So far I have read about piston scuff and a special break-in procedure to prevent it. Has to do with a tight piston/cylinder clearance. Also, a DD bearing (6203) has a reputation of failing and coming apart and replacing it with a 5203 is recommended.

Anything else to watch for? any comments overall?
