I've been putting in for moose, sheep and goats in Montana since I was 11. I'm now 36. That's 75 chances at those drawings...not to mention bonus points I've acrued over the years from unsuccessful drawings.

I have a student who drew a sheep tag. He had to wait two weeks into the season before he could even shoot it, since he was still 11 years old.

He filled his tag on Friday with a beauty.

Base mass carries well around to the bottom.

His curls come up back around past his eyes to his bases.

Still has lamb tips.

7.5 years old.

Rough scored 180 5/8". After deductions he is 179 and 7/8th.

1/8th from making book. LOL.

I'll see if I can get a digital pic and post it up.

He brought me 3 steaks today. They are in my fridge ready for the drive home!!!!!!!

Guess what's on the spit tonight, mamma?

Geez, thats a rough run. My dad, my brother, and myself all drew moose tags in the last 10 years, my dad drew on his first year. Guess we got lucky!

Congrats Slim!!!! Sounds like a great hunt and effort. Its great that you posted the pics. It's nice to see that you and SnoJo enjoy these hunts together.
