I'll be taking my wife to her favorite spot late this week or this weekend. Fish lake. I hope it snows all week like it's supposed to.

The wife and I will most likely be riding Fish Lake too.
Her favorite riding area. I like most of it too.
Good riding if you know where to get off the main trails!

I plan on being at the airstrip park @ 7:00-7:30 on Saturday morning.
Just a day trip for me though.
This was the wife's valentines wish and who am I to argue!
I just wish The folks we used to rent the cabin from over there still owned the cabin.
I miss that place!

Yeah, I know but I know a couple more out-of-the-way places that not everybody knows about.
Not secret by any means but less travelled!
Besides, even on a busy day over there it's so well groomed that the trails are much more tollerable with my wasted back.
Most folks will go to Baker, then Crystal pit, then Gold Creek.
Somewhere down the list is Fish.
A lot of folks avoid it just because of the lousy hiway.
It's only about an hour for me here even in bad traffic and weather.

It's the fish lake by lake wenatchee, and yes it's off hwy 2, 20 minutes or so before leavenworth.

Seriously though. St. Helens is a looong ways from lake wenatchee...
And thats about all I know about it too.

looks like fish lake the wife has a thing about baker so for her 1st ride on the ultra this will be better i just need a meeting place and time we are coming from everett so thats a couple hour drive i cant belive the wife is actually pretty exited for tommorow
