Anybody ride up at the ears today? If so how was it?

We went to california park and couldn't see. It could use more snow but is getting better.

Deep...

Snow is deep rode yesterday and today, off the hook... 1 to 2 feet of new in the last couple of days, snowing all day today. Will post pics in a few... :face-icon-small-hap

Snowing sideways and visibility poor, even here in ktown. Actually had to break out the atv plow instead of the shovel. Have a foot on the deck which is phenomenal for Kremmling.

Yeah Ralph I've never seen it snow so hard in K-Town, HWY 9 was a damn blizzard.. Snow was perfect today, visability sucked but we had a great two days on the Ears. T posts are finally getting covered up approaching Muddy Pass, must mean winter has finally arrived... High lift jacker proved it's "weight" in gold today pulled the boat anchor out of the unbelievable slush hole today, saved a lot of wasted time and our backs.. Thanks Bill!!
Nice to finally meet cha Jim, great ride today Chris...
---Sorry guys I can't post the pics, the children have pulled my privledges.. I'll start posting on sledmods nice chatting with all you guys.. Later.. Greg

So it is snowing where it is supposed to now? Thats great because I am tired of you complaining if it snows in Denver or anywhere else besides the mountains.

Headed out this way tomorrow... Wondering what the conditions are like at the ears and buff pass? Thanks

We rode on sat and it was good. We found untracked all day long and even left a little for others to enjoy. There was a lot of people up there sat and parking was a challenge. It was about 40 in town all weekend so I am sure it has settled out quite a bit. Should have got some new snow up there last night.

There was about 6" fresh Friday morning, and at least another 6" fresh Saturday morning. On Saturday, we were the first ones to break the trail and every meadow along the way between the Muddy Creek lot all the way to reservoir up towards the top near the tower. It was awsome to be the first ones making tracks!!!
