Compression for '06 M7?

My 700's have been in the 135-145 lbs range but #'s will change depending on your compression tester and environmental conditions. Most will say as long as numbers aren't too low and they are within about 10% of each other you are good.

IMO 114-112 is a bit low but since they are close it could just be your tester?

Chris.

Lower elevation should lead to higher numbers. I'm at a few hundred feet and should get higher compression numbers than someone with the same sled at a higher elevation.

Environmentalist: At your elevation you should be around 125 lbs of compression to be good. Check you gauge or recheck compression with another gauge just to be safe. I also like to see both sides within a couple pounds of each other.

Not sure if you did or not? But i was always told to hold the throttle wide open when you check it? And check a warm motor!! DOnt know if that will help?

i checked mine a while ago and they were 98/90 and im at like 3500 feet. that was way to low for me because i have a high comp head also. so i put a new top end on and should be good now
