comments Rk-tek head and new can??

(06 M7) Any one have any comments or expirence with a Rk-tek head??? Also what is the best can for an M7 or the best sugestions for one??

best thing to do is call and talk to kesley. he has certain pipe and can combos he likes to use with his stuff, and certain combo's he wont recomend at all. he knows what works for cats and can help if, you are willing to listen, and take suggestions. ski

Ran his head on my 06, along with a Speedwerx can.. Liked the sound of it, but until I added a y pipe of all things it would not run properly on top end, almost like the choke was pulled on..

^^ what they said. Stock can or skinz super q get the thumbs up. LOTS of good reading on his website on the can issue. I know I'm out there re-reading articles more often than not just as a refresher.

i currently run a rkt head-- 3000 to 6000 ft-- with a slp can. the head really made the motor run more crisp, i had a low end bog before i put the head on, with the new head it eliminated the bog. pulls harder in the midrange

Im going to be running the RKT head with a mbrp can. Hopping it works out well for me. Im going to be riding from 6000-9000.

I'd check on that with Kelsey before you run it. The backpressure is very unique with his stuff.
