Politics is the reason why I lost my job. I love my riding buddies but sitting idle for the last year I have been able to pay attention to what is going on around me and it is sad, very sad. The school system is failing and there is way too much else that I have noticed in my tiny little community to list. I grew up here and seeing what I am seeing is just destroying me. I don't want my sons to grow to grow up in this. I am not baggin on the riding community by any means. I will be riding Colorado just as much as I will be coming home on weekends.

PJ, I can vouch for Larry (bigrock 33). He is and outstanding and respectable guy.

I do plan on riding a bunch. Larry never called me, Scott did. I like it steep, deep and challenging.

Hey, you have any good sleddin pics of your riding area that you can send me so I have an idea of what to expect? Also what is the general elevation so I can tune and clutch for it. Thanks.

You should be safe tuning for 8-11,000'. That should cover most of utah riding. I don't have a ton of pics, I would hit up Ron (sledhead ut) for some pics.....he has a ton!

Then I'll leave it right where it is. We are changing my clutching back to my 2008 setup this coming Friday. That setup flat out ripped!

Don't think because I'm in Iraq doesn't mean i don't have internet access. You probably wouldn't have ever noticed my gear, but when your black @$$ gets towed out every weekend there's not much else to look at besides the guy on the operational sled.

I'll have to settle for a gear since I wouldn't swallow the vinegar koolaid needed to be a mod. :eek: Is arfrce going to be bummed that your moving? I know you guys were good friends. :cool:

Whatever. I haven't "modded" anything in well over a month. I have more important things on my mind right now, like trying to figure out a way to keep my family together for the next 6 months. So your neat little comments really find a place in my heart. I can only drive home every other weekend. I suppose I could fly home every weekend as it is pretty cheap but very inconvenient as the flights would be late and we would have to find a sitter every Sunday night while the wife drives me to DIA but I imagine that won't last too long.

Do me a favor, if you feel the need to "stalk" me and make dumb comments, do it in the Colorado section please. Don't follow me into another section where I am trying to find folks that are willing to show me around the area where I am going to end up placing my family.

I want to leave all the drama behind me, don't chase me with it.
 
Nice pics. How close are those in proximity to Heber? I'd really like to sit down with some of you guys in the evenings and talk about the area so I have an idea so come December I am not totally blind.

You will need a little thicker skin if you are going to hang with the Utah crowd. Kinda funny how you can take jabs at me and I should just sit back. If anybody is responsible for drama its you Ralph...or Dave the guide (I get those two mixed up).

I have a bunch of riding buddies here and have been hanging out well before you were forced here because of the job market.



I'll leave ya be though....didn't mean to get your skirt ruffled.

The only way we do it is to lead you in blindfolded, if you can make it out then you are welcomed back.:cool:
