Colorado Polaris Dealers

so you are telling me you'd be on an AC?

Yep, after seeing the 2nd v.r. go in a year, it is the last straw for my loyalty. I hate to think about that since I know Polaris inside and out. Hopefully the shop will be able to find a true cause, but I'm not optimistic. Once it's out of warranty it would cost $700 in just parts every time it happens. This now makes 9 pistons, 2 monoblocks, 1 ecu, 1 voltage regulator, and I'm positive that we will be adding another ecu and v.r.

Jesus! I'm starting to think my ole edge chassis, is not so bad after all :D

I live in Aurora and drove to Grand Lake to have the update done on my Dragon. Alan and Justin at Spirit Lake were awesome! I will probably continue to do that if I need anything again.

I really liked the feel of the personal service at this smaller shop that knows sleds, and will go the extra mile.

However, if you are going to do a big mod project, Vohk would probably be a really good option as well.

I may buy some parts from Vickery out of convenience, but I will never let them work on one of my sleds again after the poor service I had with a Yamaha and a Ski Doo there.

I talked to the service manager at Vickery about the Polaris update this fall, and he said he "had heard something about it, but didn't know really know what it was all about."

I saw the turbo sled Vickery had done. It was fine if you don't mind that it looked like a blind man assembled it out of duct tape, baling wire and other parts from Walmart.

Spirit Lake Polaris

I ride a skidoo but Alan at Spirit Lake would be the first to get my business if I switch to a Polaris.

They are great to work with and will go the extra mile to find something out they don't know. Smaller shop with personal service and you will be on a first name basis after going there 2-3 times.

i was on a gen 2 700 last yr and those boys at vickery hooked me up with whatever i needed:) i had xtreme do a clutch on it 4 me they half ***'d it and it lasted 400 miles:o took it to vickery, they went through it completely and had it done in a day. im on a cat now but kept the 700 for the wife/backup. i told them i swent with a cat and they offerd to try and find me cat parts if i needed them:eek: great service imo:D so i try and buy my gear there to help them out. i thought there turbo sled looked pretty nice. i didn't see any duct tape tho:rolleyes: otherwise it would have been REALLY cool:D

Well the polaris dealer that I have been dealing since extreme is gone is frontier cycles in laramie, WY. I had the update done on the wife's 09 800 and the tech explained everything that was done and how to properly break the engine in and so on. Why i was there i ended up buying a 09 700 rmk for my son ( christmas present). The service was excellent and crew is great and want to say thanks to Adam, roy,and gary. It's a drive but wasn't sure who to turn too due to dealing with extreme for several years and hearing some of the stories about other local dealers, we all had to find a new place to goto. I also heard that spirit lake is a great place to also.

I did the same thing as you for my Assault. Roy is handling my sled and I have been completely impressed. I also used to be an Xtreme guy. I am in Fort Collins, it takes me 45 minutes from my house to the dealer. I do live on the West end of Fort Collins.
