Colorado 4m Misfits 2008-Day 1

Nice pics guys!!

Roll your sled Dave? Hows the leg?

Mclovin is now Mcstuckin!!!:beer;

I am Mcstuckin!!!

I got tossed off the sled on a big mound on the hill. It was far easier just to roll it over to get it pointed downhill. Managed to do it all by myself. My leg is getting there slowly, I'm off the crutches at least.

Great Weekend of Riding!

Sorry we didn't get to ride Ike. I heard you were out for the day:( You sure you just didn't want to be #'s 17 and 18 of the misfit ride:rolleyes:

Rode with duke and rmk trencher 900 on Monday. The foot or two we got Sunday was great on sunny Monday. We had a great ride and Duke showed me a few tricks on his shorty;) A 121" X 2" track should not be able to do that:eek: Talk about nimble and a blast to ride.

Jim, I did get a few and will post them up shortly. Hope to get that video up too before too long. No software with camera = lame.

So is Duke some sort of maniac with the jumps and stuff? Post some pics of his stuff!

Here's one of Duke...........................

Ike, looks like cameras are to you what knives are to me.... slowly put it down and walk away before you get hurt!

Duke, were those jumps off that little kicker on the West side of the meadow next to the Dumont lot? There is a good launch that puts you over the "old road" on that side.

No, it's over heading towards the wall. Not much of a jump really. Jumping off the overlook down south is a little more fun. Can't wait to do that one again.

So how was the lot? plowed? Any room in it left Friday night??

Wish I was there. Was in Maine for the weekend. Ate lots of lobster!:D

CDOT made an appearance after everybody was already parked and settled in. I left my trailer up there so I could have a spot the next day. I don't think there was any room left, lots of overnighters in it all weekend.

As far as CDOT goes, they couldn't plow a lot out in a decent time frame if they tried! They have a hard enough time with HWY 40! Lazy SOBs!

Heck, they stared at Hwy 14 for 4 days before they attempted to remove the avy.

How was the landing? I was wary of dropping it with the snow as hard as it was. I've dropped it when there was 3' of new fluff, but I was a lot younger then too!:D

PJ, that drop was right next to where we were climing on the south side saturday. Where Jim filmed. I figuered out how to capture stills from the video so I'll post up some from previous days. It's high def vid and the pic quality is pretty good for vid. The vids we took came out pretty cool, I just need to get a firewire and some editing software to get it rolling.
