I think you should call the DNR in Ellensburg (DNR office Southeast 509-925-8510 ).

I wouldn't be surprised if all of Reecer, Wilson Coleman, Dawson and Colockum are closed to all except fire crews.

IF the fire is really bad then the whole area is at risk of being shut down this winter as well. DNR and FS will claim its unsafe and therefore closed to all recreation users because (a)burnt hills are unstable (b) dead trees may fall,(c) wildlife is over stressed...(d)...(e)....

By the looks of the enormous cloud it's in the Naneum Basin (Walters Flats) but I don't know how far east it is now. They say it will probably go until it rains real hard or the snows come.

Kittitas County, WA -09/21/2012 - The Kittitas County Emergency Operations Center, in conjunction with Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), has coordinated additional closures in response to continuing hazards from the Table Mountain Fire.

Effective 12pm today, all state lands are closed east of the Naneum State Forest line to the Columbia River, and north of Vantage Highway to just north of the Kittitas-Chelan County line. This includes the Colockum, Quilomene and Whiskey Dick wildlife areas.

Forest closures remain in place for the Naneum State Forest and Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest (east of US97 to the Naneum State Forest).
