Cold starting apex with c-16!!!

We have a 1L bottle of regular gas and a little shot of that is all it takes in 22 below. Just took the air breather off and squirted a bit in there and all 3 fired rite up. Also running straight c-16, suprised what you did with the starter fluid didnt work? We had them in a enclosed trailer with a heater and that mite be why all it took was the reg gas, but they wouldnt start on the 16 alone. Trailer was far from warm as its not insulated very well.

Starting fluid....WTF! It works good if you want to hyd. the motor and bend a valve. NEVER, NEVER USE STARTING FLUID IN A HIGH PERF. ENGINE LIKE THESE SLEDS HAVE NOW. You can buy little silicone heaters that will stick to the bottom of your block and oil tank. I use them on my SC Apex and they work perfect. They are only 200 watts a piece so they are easy to run off an inverter if you have to. My .02

I buy them Through Greggs Distributers in Canada. Part #MODEL9 I'm sure That you can buy them at any auto parts store. The product is made by Wolverine Products Inc. They are a 125 watt heater and stick to any thing. Hope this helps.
