Cold Creek and Bear Creek Conditions

This Pic was taken on 12/24/2015.This is the entrance to Cold Creek. Bear Creek looks the same. Does anyone have any Idea when they are going to plow the entrance so we can get into the park with our tow rigs? Right now the only place to park is on the road and not sure if the locals would appreciate that.:face-icon-small-sad

White Pass east side plowing

This issue was brought to the WSPR snowmobile grooming program administrator last week. Hopefully this will get resolved shortly; but this late after the snow has set up will be tough to get them plowed out correctly. This issue will come up at the next YCGC meeting in January.

Agreed, the lots looked great! (PNWsnowmobiler-I was in the grey Dodge with a deck on the 1st.) Was our first time riding there and was pleasantly surprised. We will be back and likely with our RV.

Thank you to the person that plowed the snow park you did an awesome job!!!!! This was our camp site :face-icon-small-hap

The wife and I have been talking about scoping out some new territory this winter and that snopark looks great!

Is that off US12 by Rimrock Lake?

yep if your comming from the summit of white pass heading east it is the first road on the right (Tieton Rd) after you start down the other side. Once you turn right follow tieton rd past a couple camps and past the non motorized snowpark on the right down a little further you'll see the snowpark entrance on the left

How was the riding around there??

How'd your RV hold up in the single digit temps??

Been thinking about taking our cabover camper out over a weekend of riding, but never had it out during those cold of temps before.

Well as far as the riding goes we didnt get a chance to hit the trails we just played in the play area right by camp.....5 outta 7 sleds running and only 1 was running top notch didnt wanna take any chances of getting on the trails and have issues...but we all had a blast...my boyfriend even topped off the trip by proposing !!...As far as the RV went we had one morning that the water pump was frozen only cause we didnt time the battery life and generator right but helping hands warmers and a little patience it thawed out nicely, actually we had our boys set up in a old Korean war tent with a fireplace and they stayed warmer then we did in the motorhome. The last night we were there it was 2 degrees at the summit of white pass.

Sounds like it was quite the adventure, lol.

Man being in a tent (stove or not) in single digits...brrr, that's bravery right there, haha.

Congratulations on the engagement too by the way. :rose:
