CO Conditions Report for 2010/11

Let's get it started, since the snow is starting to fall. I know a handfull of people that have been up to the Bachelor area already. Snow is falling as of 11/10/10 with more to continue throughout the week....

Any info on conditions for any CO area would be great!

Word is that a BIG storm is coming in late next week.

Allways love to hear about snow falling! I will be in the K Falls area for a couple more mounths, would like to get in on some of the great riding that I hear so much about in this part of the state. Any one that would be willing to let me tag along, I sure would take them up on it.

I went up to Dutchman yesterday (11/11/10) and the lot was full at 10am...yes FULL The coverage was decent with about 2' of pow on top...bring your rock sled and hope you know where and what to watch out for! Overall it was a blast to be back on the sled. I snapped a few pics and will post them later today

Central Oregon is a high elevation "desert" with moderately low rainfall. There is access to some good high elevation riding that typically has a drier snow content from what we access on the west side where the storms drop wetter/warmer snow.

rode 11-13, got 36 miles on the new sled. Need more snow. Law enforcement was at dutchman flats, writing tickets. Be careful and don't stick around in the parking lot for too long.

I rode on the 13th, got a ticket, so pumped to start out the season with a ticket for not having a headlight!

Rode again yyesterday. Coverage up top is good. Snow was great.

Anyone want to ride Tuesday? They are predicting blue bird skies and foot of fresh...

I rode on the 13th, got a ticket, so pumped to start out the season with a ticket for not having a headlight!

I think I saw them giving you that ticket. They tried to get us for not have tags or a registration. But we told them the sled were brand new, got off with just a warning.

I almost rode back into dutchman flats when I saw them in the parking lot.
