Ya, I got my info from Brew too. I was very tempted to try those weights early but they remind me of two other sets I have (MDS and MTX) in theory-design but way more adjustable for weight position (a good thing).
I feel I've just played with these for too long lol. IMO always a compromise in one area (heavy load- light load) and quick to show a HP loss (elevation changes, RAD changes, covered intakes lol) but when set close they work well with stock modern secondary set-ups (stiff IMO) and that is what they were designed for.
Rooster, Carls, MDS, SLP, Poo all offer great packages with their own twist. The term "package" means all the components. As soon as you decide to eliminate or change one component you take matters in your own hands. So be ready if you decide to mix and match.
My primary set-up right now is Thunder Products HH weights set-up to 63.8 gr (pretty even spread of weight). I ride 5000 to 6500' primarily. My motor is stronger than stock and I'm geared a 2.33 to 1.
I have a machined and balanced P85 with a 911 TP cover. The spring I use is a Cat gold (75/275. bigger ID so less rub on the spyder nut, only 5.75 coils so never a coil bind issue). When installed in this clutch with a single glide washer in the spyder it becomes a 95/ 295. When I'm surprised by a heavy spring dump or in the middle of a perfect storm sometimes I pop the primary cover and add a glide washer or 2 ( each shim adds about 12 lb to each end of the spring #). I call this my clicker set-up with out the ramp angle change lol.
So Dmax, what I am saying, all that gobblity goop above may mean nothing to you because 1; you ride at a different elevation, 2; you probably weight different, 3; you may have different HP, 4; you probably have a different secondary set-up, 5; you are using different weights.
I would suggest you get the rest of the package from Rooster if that is your pick and start there. They have done the testing and have feed back from customers like yourself. That gives them the best chance to answer your questions correctly.
Probably your shortest route to the end you want. Probably the cheapest route too lol.
Hope it helps.
