I have a 98 700 rmk what is the peak horsepower and torque rpm? I am going from 1062 to 1060 weights how much rpm will i gain? also to get a higher rpm clutch engagment What would be the best way to go about it? It starts to move about 3500rpm ....i want to get it up over 4000

What elevation? If i remember right with the stock pipe your looking for 8000 rpms.


How much rpm you gain depends on what else is done to the sled clutching and gearing wise. Your engagment RPM you want could be achieved by an Almond Red primary spring.

I ride from 5 to 7000 feet i have twin slp pipes and stingers it turns 8000 rpm now gearing i belive is stock and i have a black/ green primary spring right now ....slp specs call for 10 60 weights with a almond gold primary spring I also have a slp head on it and boost bottle i am thinking of putting v force reeds or boysen reeds in it also .....
