Clutching question

So I was looking at my primary clutch the other day and noticed that the belt is only coming up 2/3 of the way up the sheaves. I can hit the rev limiter pretty easy in all but the deepest powder. My question is should I throw more weight at the primary or re-gear? Not sure what weights I have in there but stock gearing is 20 and 40. Any opinions would be great. Thanks.

it is usually a gearing issue. If you are hittin th erev limited you could throw a gram or 2 at it as well.

Sounds like I'd do both gear down and add some weight. I'd go to a 19 at least, maybe even the 18 with no turbo.
