Clutching Help

At 70 grams I have no extra weight in. I'm wondering if my primary is shifting out too fast and going full ratio before the sled has built enough power. I'll try adding some weight into it and see how it reacts.

I have re read your first post and see that you wanted to increase belt live so you bought the tied clutch. were you having belt live issues with your ts04 team? How many miles were you getting before you had to switch belts?

When I had the stock track and drivers on it I could burn a belt up in a day if I wasn't careful. I also fought this on the 2012 machine that I owned. That was using a Polaris 3211115 belt. I'm confident it isn't an alignment issue as it wasn't consistantely wreaking one side of the belt. I also have a buddy that rides a stock machine run my belts for about three days to break them in. My main type of riding is tight trees and I'm about 230lbs before gear so I know I wont see standard belt life. Once I switched to the X3 camo and 7T my belt life drastically improved with no clutching changes. I'm sure that this was because of the gearing reduction. That said, with the conditions I had in two of the days I've ridden this year with my old setup I would have toasted a belt. So I am gaining! We are headed to Revy on sunday for a few day's so I'll try messing with it a little while we're there.

How did things turn out for you snowjunkie? Clutching any better?

One thing you could check and maybe you have already is the little plastic line that run from the boondocker control box to the after cooler or airbox, kinked or broke anywhere? Also is the little control valve between the turbo actuator and airbox working properly. Just check for moisture in the connection and if there is this could give you inconsistent performance with the boost. Put some deletric grease in after you dry it out if it is wet. hope you get it figured out.
