Clutching for CPI twins for 2010 800 Dragon 163

I just purchased some cpi twins for my 2010 800 dragon and i'm not sure of what kind of clutching to run.. CPI claims 20 hp with these pipes so i will be at about 170 hp + - a couple hp. I have Just about every intake vent and hood vent on my sled so it breathes easy and under hoods temps low. i changed my gearing to 19-42 also. So i was just looking at slp's web site at there performance packages for the dragon with a single for about 167 hp and was going to run the same clutching set up as that. What's everyones thoughts on this.:)

just got my cpi twins and installing them but on the manifold side(the individual parts that bolt on to the engine) there is no where to hook springs up??? did they forget to weld them on or am i missing something???

you should have little tabs in the bag of misc items those tabs bolt on when you bolt your manifold on with the factory bolts i'll check my sled and see what bolts holes i used

mine were a lil tight fitting but thats good so they don;t rattle around i also took some sand paper and sanded some paint away there the pipes slide on the manifolds and where the stingers slide on the pipe if you need i can take some pics of how mine is

install help

anyone have the install directions or any help to install gen III ? did not get install directions with purchase. cpi is closed till monday and want to ride!!

i dont have a d8 or cpi pipes i got an 08 d7 with slp race twins if you swap your track out for an extreme and get the weight transfer under controll 7/8 of the sleds out there wont be able to touch you. these twin are so much better than old school carbed sleds with twins no more changing jets up in the mountians when i put on my slp twin i noticed there was barely and i mean barely any bottom end loss too bad you couldnt try an slp single then put on the twins to see what your missing out on:D good luch set it and forget it

Are you not sure about the hooking it up following attitudes instructions or hooking up power/ ground to aux wires. I my lovely wife lost my instructions and i hooked it up from there web site. and went on on cpi web site for control #s as a starting point but there out to lunch cause my sled didn;t want to run at those #s so i called cpi and they gave me new #s that work perfect. let my know if you need anything else.
