Clutching advice por favor!

Here's the story: I have an 05 summit rev 800 and she's a real black beauty. The problem is that the clutching isn't set up right for climbing out in ID at 6-8 thousand ft. When the motor is really cranking under load up the hill all of the power just craps out. With the snow flakes fast approaching I am looking for some tips and advice on how to cure the poor stable buck!

Just bought DJ's kit and got it installed but of coarse have not been able to try it, but from what I have read on them they are the best out there. If you try a get ahold of him give him a couple days cause he is still working in the feild till the first week in sept.

i swear by throwing out the doo secondary and using a roller like a TEAM or something. if you're interested in the team, i know the setup off the top of my head, for primary and secondary.

I would geard down to a much higher ratio. I geared my 800 zx highmark extreme with 159 down so much i had to get a different chain. The Team roller is nice too with a stiff spring and straight 42 or 40 helix. Get the proper Team alignment bar to ensure proper adjustment. Provides great grip on the belt for boondocking and RPM's dont drop like an achor on hillclimbs. I dont even mess with clickers anymore and dont even have to use the $500 skidoo belts.

first make shure you have good compression (flakey rings), then install a dj clutch kit.
