Yesterday I was in deep snow and I was only taching 7950 7980 and sometimes 8000. Says target rpm is 8100-8300. I have the stock clutching for 6000-9000ft. Should I drop a little weight? Thoughts?
Thanks guys.

Pick up some Cutler adjustable weights. Takes 5 minutes to add/remove weight so you are always running optimal rpm's no matter the conditions or elevation.

Leave it

Chris I would leave it and play with it if you take much out will over rev and 7900 is ok gets much lower I would worry like 7700 pulling a hill then look at it. If it get so it is check primary Spring first.

Sounds good. I'll leave it and go from there..

Mine does the same thing. It pull 7900-8000 rpm at 8500-9000 ft. elevation. It pulls hard and runs great, so i hate to mess with it.

I never see over 8000 rpm on the hard pack or in powder. I have about 120 miles, so the rpm will probably improve as I get more miles.
