I am looking to try a different secondary setup on my 2010 Boondocker M8.
I had been running 77 or 80 gram primary weights with Team Green/Pink and boondockers secondary setup, which is a dalton 36-46 P with Cat orange spring with shift assist.
I was overall happy with the setup, but made the switch to a P-85 primary which may improve the backshifting.
The only issue I had was that backshift seemed slightly sluggish when when I was further into the shift range, IE higher track/ground speed.
My initial thought was to go with a lower finish angle on the Helix, say a 36-42 progressive.
Am I looking at this properly?
Also, and ideas where I can find a helix like this that would work with the Dalton secondary cover?
