Have a 2011 pro 800. I noticed one of primary rollers has some play in it when changing weights. Any advice on what to do. Have dealer fix it or can anyone recommend some one. Will it need a total rebuild. Sled has 1500 mi on it.

Do it yourself

Have a local shop do it

My personal favorite-- have Indy Specialties rebuild it, machine the sheave faces, and balance it It will be better than new

X2 and the price is right for all that they do and how they do it. You can find cheaper, but you will not find better!

Better be for over 400 bucks they charged. That was with new wieght bushings and rollers. I know it's a superior job coming from Dan thought according to peeps on here.

Under $300 for the full service on mine, and if you see the amount of balancing he did, you'll see how important it is.

Dan (Indy Specialties) balances it as individual components

The other huge difference is Dan balances it, as individual components, after disassembly, cleaning, inspection, not as an assembly! So when you need to move the spider to adjust belt clearance you don't have to get it balanced all over again.

That is the reason I will not use most of the other places to do it. I could name a handful of big names out there that don't take it apart, don't clean it, don't care what condition it's in; they just throw it on the balancer as an assembly and essentially screw you for whatever they charge these days.

I've been working with Dan now for over 10 years... (time flies)... He does great work on these clutches and has saved my butt quite a few times.

I've also used Cascade Clutch and performance to go through my clutches... They are also top notch in my opinion.

HaHa, I did my first business with Dan about 31 years ago when he was still working out of his garage as a side business. Even then he came highly recommended by anyone who was in the know / in tune with Polaris Sleds.
