I have heard that the yellow teflon tape for use on gas lines works well with the water trick. Never had to use it, though.

Try the teflon tape trick, add water, then let it freeze outside, should pop off.

Be wary of "polishing" the taper on the shaft or the bore, these are probably the tightest tolerances on the machine, outside of the injector internals.

I always fill the hole with greese never had a problem

It's a Polaris........just keep riding it, it will fall off! Lol. JK, hope you get it.

I had one like yours years ago and HAD to resort to an impact. Go to the tire store and have them put their big gun on it so it pops right off without constant rattling. Good luck. EW
