Clutch rattling noise

Hi im noticing some chatter/rattling mechanical noise commin from the clutch side of my 2014 switchback assault. Im not a hundred percent sure but it sounds like it while in lower rpm or just comming off the throttle at low speeds. Anyone else get this or know what it could be?

I had a similar concern on my 13 when I got it. It is now my understanding that this is due to the reversible helix going slack as it would on decel at low speeds.

I'm sure those more experienced than I with these sleds will be able to chime in as well.

sled

make sure the nut is tight inside the drive clutch that locks the spider in place, seen them loose before and rattling in there

there have been a few cases of bad clutches from factory in the past. not saying the case but it is a possibility

if you are experienced with clutching, you will know how to remove it and inspect. If you are not, find a friend that is or revist your dealer with your concerns.

I have seen issues of clutch failures causing crank/bearing/case issues before. As I said before, not saying this is the case, but its not something worth messing with in my experience.

Especially on a new sled. When my 11 was new, I experienced no such noise/vibration, same went for my 13

seems odd to me
