Any one had this problem where I start the sled run it then once its off I try and restart it only to find the track wants to move when I pull the start cord.
Clutch issue?

Sled is a 700 08 dragon. One season old.

Where is the belt sitting in the clutches when this happens? It should be in the bottom of the primary and at the top of the secondary. You should be able to push down on the center of the belt between the clutches and push it down 1.25 inches quite easily.

You likely have a clutch pin bushing that is worn out letting the clutch weight flop over to the side. When the clutch is coming off engagement the weight is torqued over and jams in the spider, holding it open.

There are other things, worn out roller for example, that can cause it too.

I'm betting that clutch needs some TLC.

You really should have your clutches off, cleaned and inspected a couple time through out the season. All parts fail eventually, some sooner than others.

This is pretty colse to what you may have. Replace the clucth bushing in the Primary. I had this happen...more pronouncede when cold coming off the deck in very cold temps..bushing was replaced and it still did the same thing.. Primary Spider was not machined properly..ie defective...this was replace and all is well. Until you get it fingered out set your secondary deflection down a bit.
