Clutch Help, Please

I have a stock 2013 Pro 163 & I have recently moved from Coeur d'Alene Idaho where we rode 4 to 6,000' to Billings, MT where we will be riding the Big Horns/Cooke City which is 7 to 10,000'. I know my current clutch set up is not going to work which is:

SLP blue/pink primary spring & Polaris 64 weights

What should I change the clutching to?

If I change the quick drive to a system that can gear the sled down, will that affect the clutching?

Thanks!:present:

Just drop 2 grams of weight and you'll be just fine. You can add a stiffer secondary spring if you do not already have a black/purple installed with delrin washers, that helps for high loads and high altitudes.

I ride your new elevation and have the slp blue/pink spring and have always ran 10-58 weights in the primary! I know some run 10-60's at that elevation but I've always had good luck with the 10-58's!

Just letting ya know.

I would second the statement on the 10-58's on a 163. You will see higher rpms down low but the difference will matter when you get in deep snow at high elevation. If you are running stock gearing it should be good.

I would try the 58s and 60s. If you gear lower you MiGHT have to drop a small amount of weight but it will likely not be enough to effect the clutching very much.
