So I am installing a primary clutch on my '97 Polaris Super Sport 488 fan. i believe the clutch is a P-85, i was just wondering what i should torque that bolt to hold the clutch on to. also should i put a dab of grease on the part of the crankshaft that is sticking out (the tapered end)? thanks a lot!

Crank taper has to be dry. Do not use any oil or grease on it. You should clean it and the clutch taper with brake clean or acetone to remove all traces of oil or residue. Torque should be 50 lbs according to service manual. Retorque after running it for a while.
