Here i am out the gates with a question.
I purchased an 07 Summit X 800 with 400 miles on it last spring. As with spring riding, I had to unload in the mud and go about 50 ft to get on snow. Doing this, my machine was getting bogged down and would not rev up. Took a few tries before I was able to get it to go, then it was game-on. I did not smell my belt burning. It continued to do this on and off for the rest of the day when starting in a demanding situation. I did have some old-ish gas in it, and the thing smokes like a chimney. Any input? Just bad gas? Clutch problem?
Please feel free to assault me for being a new guy, posting in thee wrong forum, etc.
Thanks.
