i do all my own clutching, cleaning, tuning shimming, etc. etc. . now i'm curious about doing my own balancing! what does a race shop use for a balancing tool? does anybody have a homemade balancer? whats the process for balancing a clutch?

i cant find any pics of a balancer, or the process anywhere online.

would something like a motorcycle wheel balancer work?

You can get a clutch balancing tool for your clutch and do it yourself. The only drawback is the up front cost. They run just shy of $500.00 for the tool. You put the clutch on the tool and mark it, the low side is the heavy side. Take some weight of of that side and spin it again etc etc etc.

PM me and I can get you the company we get our balancers from.
