Clutch adjustment for midwest

I know this may have been asked, I tried searching this forum, and the regional forum but did not come up with anything.

I bought my sled in Colorado, and live in Illinois. I plan to head up to the UP this weekend to try and hit some off trail and want to get my clutch set up. Some people said to swap the weights to 66 grams, and I will be good to go.

What do you guys recommend?

First off, what sled do you have?

Typically, I just switch out my weights to match my altitude.

It is a PRO RMK 800 155"

I put in 66, didn't get a reply quick enough, while I was on my way to the dealer.

Anything I should look for tomorrow while I'm riding?

First mountian sled, never really had to change any weights in previous sleds.

Thanks in advance,

hit lower end on MI today for a few hours on some nasty trails, it seemed to be around 8300-8400 on WOT today with my 66s.

Heading to UP for 5 days and want to make sure it's dialed, maybe I will try 68s.

I see some run 66, I guess as long as I don't stay on high rev with the 66 I should be ok?

You have to remember you were probably running break-in oil in your first tank and are in wet sticky snow. I would bring 10-68's just in case. Mine with break-in oil ran at 8250-8300 with 10-68's in the U.P.

It was at around 100 miles, so no break in oil here.

I didn't have time to get 68s. I hope the 66s will be ok.
