Closest riding place to Denver

I am taking my sled in for some work in Denver and want to test it afterwards. I know Vail pass pretty well but was wondering if there is somewhere closer, just want to run it a little to test the clutching. Thanks.

I would probobaly guess that jones pass is closest to denver.
Vail Pass is 16 miles from Silverthorne.
Spring Creek trail head is 34 miles from Silverthorne.

Jones pass. Parking is at Henderson mine. Just 1 hour drive from Denver.
