Clemina Avalanche Video

I see the mouth piece on this thread deleted his thread. Kinda funny. You had the sack to stand up and defend the guy but you delete your thread. I'll be waiting for red puss.

LOL. Send me a PM.

Who was it and what did it say? Nobody quoted it?

That is why my sled wont leave the garage again this year.
Yeah, but you're just a meadow rider anyway, right? No worries for you mang. LOL :beer;:D

did you send this video the the local news?? there is a video on tonight on someone outrunning an avalanche on the news ill have to watch it. I hope you didnt send it to the news we as snowmobilers have enough problems explaining to others that its not all that bad and you can actually ride safely in the mountains. :D

You missed the first one at :33.

It definitely was not the smartest place to be highmarking considering the avalanche reports. I am sure he was confident considering the amount of previous highmarks that did not trigger any slides. Just goes to show that you never know, minimize your risks.

Having said that and not to defend this particular rider some forum members should learn to temper their distain and what comes out of their minds on onto their keyboard. Would you be typing the things you do about this guy if he had of died? I think not. I know of at least one of the commenter’s on this thread that lost a friend in an avy and I know he did not speak like this about his friend and the risk he took. In fact it was quite the opposite.

If this guy is an idiot for climbing this hill then everyone including the Yamaha folks must be idiots for sitting at the base of the Sugar Bowl and photographing and videoing folks climbing up out of there. It has slid at least once this year that I personally witnessed and the east face slid this past thursday or friday.

Bottom line is that we all take risks in this sport. We just need to learn from what we see and experience. Unless you have never taken a risk where a little voice in the back of your head says, "be careful here" then don't judge others that come up on the short end of the stick because luck was not on their side that day. It could be you next time.

Sorry for the preaching I just get sick and tired of seeing double standards posted on here.

Great vid. Love what your (son?) says at the :52 mark!

Like said above....look at all the activity of other riders in the run-out area.

Good thing he rode it down, otherwise he would have had to ride the rocks.
