Cleaning stock A-Arms?

As everyone else knows or has come to find out, with a little brush busting or tree riding, stock Axys a-arms seem to get discolored, especially the lowers. Just wondering if anyone has found a cleaner that works really well to scrub these with?

steel wool makes it look brand new. that was on the raw aluminum ones tho.

Of course! SB work especially well to get rough textured plastic clean.
