Cle Elum

Has anyone ridden in Cle Elum lately? What is it like? Where did you go? Which snow park? I want to go this weekend. I've been going to Baker because of the lack of snow here. I'm not looking for deep powder, just trail riding with my gf and daughter for my birthday.

the snow is great we got dumped on this week and last week..... the salmon la sac snow park is great.... I see that your just trial riding so you will be just fine either going up French Cabin, Cooper, or the Fish Lake road/Fortune Creek road........ have fun!!! be safe!...carson

Could I expect same snow depth around Reecer Creek? This will be my first time snowmobiling in Washington (from Squamish, BC originally) and want a nice mixed terrain ride.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I would suggest going up the salmon la sac area...... more places.... more snow... better riding in my opinion ......... well maintained roads to make those hard back country rides back to the truck a breeze..... but the only down side is more people.......carson

I would ride Reecer, its got everything and when its socked in up there you will be basking in sunshine. I miss riding up Brandy Wine and the ice fields, keep poking around and you will find what your looking foor:face-icon-small-coo

I was up at Brandy Wine 3 weeks ago during the low snow January and it was literally at skating rink. We pulled into the parking lot to a guy towing out his wrecked sled. One the trail was another crack-up. We gave Avalanche Alley a shot. The sleds would hit a wind-blown covered sheet of ice and all of a sudden you are going backwards out of control.:face-icon-small-sho

Hey if it does get socked in are there meadows/trees to play in at Reecer?

Thanks
