classic rock lyrics

Left alone with big fat annie
she was such a naughty nanny
but I knew love before I left my nursery:eek:

WTB digi version!

Can anyone tell me of some download site that I may not know aboot?

(I have not used one yet, bet soon to fill in a few singles along the way as I put my musinc on a putor and quit wearing out CD players.)

The song is "There's no way out of here" from David Gilmour off of his self titled album. I find four or five other Giulmour albums that have some downloadable songs on them, but they must be more new skewl than me 'couse I never heard of them. LOL!

If this werks it is a link to a sound bite off of Amazon, but they are selling the whole album.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/music/wma-pop-up/B0000025DD001002/ref=mu_sam_wma_001_002

I have full intentions of paying for this. I am not looking for a pirate site!

BTW - this is one of the songs that I used in a lyrics thread a cpl yrs ago. Remember John?

Unless of course someone can tell me that the whole album is good?

That is indeed from his 1978 debut album.
Honestly, if yoiu like Gilmour & his Floyd stuff, buy the whole CD, along with the follow up "About Face".
Both very good CD's

Imagine that review from you eh? LOL! I will assume that to be a biased reply.

I am not a huge Floyd fan. It's OK.... but either it's wierd or worn out it seems.

I have an old vinyl copy of it that I picked up somewhere along the line, but it is really scratched up bad and I have never sat down and listened to it since

A) I would hafta flip it over all the time

B) I don't always have a roundy round hooked up

C) Sounds like crap!

I would prefer to buy the single if I kan find a download somewhere, and since it IS offered on CD - you would think it would be out there somewhere. (Unlike the Atlanta "Pictures" album that I would LOVE to buy that never was made on a digi format ....yet. COME ON RHINO! ;)

It has been available on CD for many years.

It is different enough from "Floyd" that it is not like listening to Floyd, but definately similar influences.

Try www.spun.com
I buy alot of used CD's there.
