A BBF..???
Looks like Seattle... Glad you put that Honda in it's place!!
How old does a car have to be to become a classic?
My vote would be bring back Pontiac!! (which will never happen) Thanks GM
I had the itch a couple of years ago and restored a 79 TA
BBF= Big Block Ford. 557cu in. bored .080 over, 4.5 inch stroke with a 6.8 length rod in a stock factory D0VE A block out of a 3/4 ton truck. If you can find an older D0VEA block some will 4.625 bore 4.5 stroke with a 6.8 rod. Can you say 605 cu inch in a stock block. Chevy cant touch that with out buying a $3000 block. believe it or not the cost to build a bbf and a chevy are about the same. An a-head intake is a little more. My cousins 598 cu in chibby cost about $5000-6000 more with block and port work to the heads and intake. My motor is box stock,no port work to the heads or intake. Are cars weight the same and i got him by 2 tenths and hes got me by 1mph. I have a powerglide he has a turbo 400.
yup Seattle. did you notice his mph though. It had a HUGE hair dryer and gutted. 2000 lbs maybe.
Aclassic is 25 years according to wa state.
I know what a BBF is, I was just surprised to see it mounted in a GM...
As a long time Mustang guy I have seen lots of BBC's stuffed into Fox bodies...
Speaking of which, if 25 years makes it a classic then I guess the '87 Mustangs are now classics!
306 CID all motor, full interior and it will run nines in good air....
