Chick on a 162, opinions?

sure is a very clean looking sled, if you ride it hard would most defiantly suggest some heat protection and venting!!! fastlane makes the most awesome nosnows for the running boards, you will never have snow buildup in the boards again. you show me yours and i'll show ya' mine:)

So I'm going from a 151 to a 162 and was wondering if anyone (especailly the ladies) has any input on this big track jump? What's your input on riding a long track? FYI I'm 5'6 and 125lbs. Any info would be rad! Cheers eh

I get so many calls from peeps wanting the biggest/baddest track out there.
I usually ask their height and weight. A 5'6 / 125 lb peep on a Apex with a 174x16 is a little over kill. Point and shoot is okay but boondocking for a day and they are a little tired to say the least.

There is no reason at your height and weight not to go to 162. The M sled with a 162 is a good combination for you. 153 to 162 is only 4.5 inches more track on the snow.

Based on where you are from (western Cdn) Tracks that "MAY" not be right for you is the Camo 9986 & A/C Challanger 162x15x2.25 the paddle tips are too soft (IMHO) and will take and keep a set to them. The A/C Power Claw 162x15x2.25 is a good climber but has what some peeps consider down hill controlability issues (IMHO) after you get 200+ kms on them.

The 9943 Camo Extreme 162x15x2.5 is one of the best tracks ever built and will give you years of good service.

What are the safety issues on the powerclaw 162 that you are reffering to? Just curious.
